Renovations
The moment we stepped into this apartment, we could see the potential waiting to be uncovered.
The home had been lived in by a lovely gentleman and his mother, and you could feel that it held a lifetime of memories. Among its most charming residents were three little turtles, a detail that made our first visit all the more memorable.
Over the years, renovations had altered the original layout, creating different floor levels that made the apartment feel less fluid than it could be. We saw an opportunity to bring it back to its original plans, rethinking the spaces to create a more harmonious flow, four well-proportioned bedrooms, and shared bathrooms designed for everyday comfort. Every room deserved to feel generous, purposeful, and connected to the whole.
Then there were the terraces. Two outdoor spaces totalling 70 m², an extraordinary feature in Geneva, with breathtaking views stretching across the Jura and the Salève. These two iconic landscapes became an essential part of the story we wanted to tell.
We undertook a complete renovation to reveal the apartment's true character, honour its generous proportions, and bring its finest features back into focus: the fireplace, the beautiful natural light that fills the rooms throughout the day, and the remarkable sense of space.
Our vision was not simply to renovate an apartment, but to restore its potential and create a home where timeless character meets contemporary living.
